Current MOD Status
- We have rebuilt the entire MOD from scratch.
- Since all roles have also been rebuilt, there are fewer roles and features than in versions before 3.0.0.0.

Creating redirect rooms or joining redirect rooms is prohibited.
What is a redirect room?
- A room created on the official Among Us servers for the purpose of directing players to a Mod room.
- Examples that fall under this
- You or someone you know hosts a vanilla room on the official Among Us servers (Asia/North America/Europe) and tells participants the code for a Mod room.
- You, your sub-account, or someone you know joins a vanilla room created on the official Among Us servers as a guest and tells participants the code for a Mod room, or advertises it.
- You or someone you know creates a public room, or joins a public room, becomes friends with people there, and then invites them to a Mod room.
- Examples that are okay
- Posting a room code on X (formerly Twitter) and recruiting participants while clearly stating that it is a MOD room.
- Sharing the room code for a MOD room and playing within a Discord server that only contains people you know.
- Posting a room code on an Among Us recruitment Discord server and recruiting participants while clearly stating that it is a MOD room.
- Examples that fall under this
But if that means people won’t gather, and you want to invite public players... In that case:
- If you create and publish a room on the SNR Official Custom Server, you can use the room list and matchmaking for SNR players. The connection destination will be automatically selected from Tokyo (JP) and USEast.
Why are redirect rooms not allowed?
- This is because, based on a notice from Innersloth, the developer and official company behind Among Us, we interpret that developers of so-called host-based MODs, including SNR, are prohibited from publishing MOD rooms on official servers that vanilla players can join unconditionally.
- As background, we believe this is because vanilla players who knew nothing about MODs were unintentionally joining MOD rooms, playing without realizing they were MOD rooms, and then mistaking MOD-related bugs for bugs in Among Us itself, resulting in many inquiries being sent to the official support team.
- Innersloth has also issued a warning to ensure that “Mod experiences not intended by users” do not occur.
- For the reasons above, we judge that publishing rooms or providing information in unrestricted public rooms, where matchmaking can include people who do not know MODs exist, is prohibited.
- Therefore, redirect rooms are also considered a prohibited action.
If everyone thinks “It’s fine as long as it’s just me lol,” it could build up and, in the worst case, all MODs could end up being banned. We sincerely ask for your cooperation.
