- Even if the Dog is dead, the match continues as long as the Owner is alive and has remaining nominations.
Details
Details
- Wins when all of the following conditions are met:
- Pavlov’s Dog is alive.
- All kill-capable factions other than the Pavlov faction have been eliminated.
- The number of Crewmates (roles that count as Crewmates) is reduced to no more than the number of members in your own faction.
- Notes
- If only the Owner is alive and they still have remaining nominations:
- The Owner counts as part of a kill-capable faction.
- Since the Owner does not meet their defeat condition (losing the Dog), but also does not meet the win condition, the game continues.
- Examples:
- In a 2-player situation with Owner (1 nomination remaining) and 1 Crewmate, the game does not end.
- By turning the Crewmate into the Dog, the Pavlov’s Dog faction wins.
- By turning the Crewmate into the Dog, the Pavlov’s Dog faction wins.
- In a 2-player situation with Owner (1 nomination remaining) and 1 Impostor, the game does not end.
- If nomination self-destruction is off, turning the Impostor into the Dog makes the Pavlov’s Dog faction win.
- If nomination self-destruction is off, turning the Impostor into the Dog makes the Pavlov’s Dog faction win.
- In a 4-player situation with Owner (1 nomination remaining), 2 Impostors, and 1 Crewmate, the game does not end.
- If nomination self-destruction is on, the Owner will self-destruct unless they turn the Crewmate into the Dog, resulting in an Impostor win.
- If the Owner turns the Crewmate into the Dog, the situation becomes 2 Pavlov faction members vs. 2 Impostor faction members.
- If nomination self-destruction is off and the Owner turns an Impostor into the Dog, the situation becomes 2 Pavlov faction members, 1 Impostor faction member, and 1 Crewmate faction member.
- In a 2-player situation with Owner (1 nomination remaining) and 1 Crewmate, the game does not end.
- Examples:
- If only the Owner is alive and they have no remaining nominations:
- The Pavlov faction is guaranteed to lose.
- The Owner counts as part of the Crewmate faction.
- Examples:
- In a 2-player situation with Owner (0 nominations remaining) and 1 Crewmate, the Crewmate faction wins.
- In a 2-player situation with Owner (0 nominations remaining) and 1 Impostor, the Impostor faction wins.
