Role Description
- Active Ability: Spiderweb
- Can place traps on the map.
- Traps take n seconds to activate.
- When someone other than an Impostor steps on a trap, they become unable to move. From the perspective of the Spider who placed the trap, the screen will glow red and an arrow will appear.
- If the Spider kills a crewmate caught in one of their own traps, their next kill cooldown becomes n seconds.
- Before activation, traps are only visible to the Impostor faction. Once activated, they become visible to everyone.
- Intended so that third parties can tell when someone has been caught.
- Traps do not disappear as turns pass.
- The idea is that the later the game goes, the greater the benefits of immobilization and reduced kill cooldown become, making it easier to turn the game around.
- An activated trap disappears when the caught crewmate dies, when the configured number of seconds passes, or when a meeting starts.
- Normal kills are still possible; traps are positioned as a tool that gives extra value when used effectively.
