Star

Team

  • Crewmate Team

Role Description

  • Passive Ability 1: Charisma

    • During the task phase and meeting phase, even from other players’ perspectives, the name of the crew member with the Star role is displayed in the Star role color.
      • If the setting [The name color remains Star even after the role changes] is off, or if no role with a sidekick-type ability (Note 1) exists,
the player with this role is confirmed innocent.
      • If the setting [The name color remains Star even after the role changes] is on, and a role with a sidekick-type ability does exist,
the player with this role is not always confirmed innocent.
  • Passive Ability 2: Overflowing Radiance

    • During the task phase, each time the kill cooldown finishes, everyone’s screen glows yellow.
      • If the kill cooldown is 5 seconds or less, the glow occurs every 5 seconds instead of every time the kill cooldown finishes.
Overflowing Radiance Usage Details
  • Regarding the discrepancy on Airship between the time when the kill cooldown finishes and the time when the glow occurs
    • The reference time (0 seconds) is set when selecting a spawn location, not when respawning.
    • The kill cooldown countdown begins when respawning.
    • Because there is a discrepancy in when the countdown starts, the glow occurs before the kill cooldown finishes.
      • Meeting ends →
Spawn selection begins (Star glow timer countdown starts) →
        Respawn (ability timer countdown starts)
        • In exchange, there is no variation between players due to respawn speed,
making it possible to build a timeline based on “when the glow occurred” for deduction and discussion.
  • Relationship with [The name color remains Star even after the role changes]
    • When enabled
      • Even after the Star is turned into a Sidekick or otherwise has their role changed, only their name color remains the Star color. The glow ability itself does not continue.
      • The end of the glow due to death is also determined in the same way as for Star.
    • When disabled
      • After the Star is turned into a Sidekick or otherwise has their role changed, the ability will no longer activate.
      • This is treated not as a death, but as “the existence of Star disappearing.”
  • [Whether the screen only glows while the Star is alive (meeting update).]
    • When enabled
      • The glow stops from the meeting after the Star has died.
        • This does not mean “the death status is reflected immediately and the glow stops.”
Rather, it means “the glow stops from the meeting after the turn in which the Star died.”
        • This setting is not meant to communicate that a confirmed innocent has died.
    • When disabled
      • The glow continues even after the Star dies.
      • If [The name color remains Star even after the role changes] is disabled and the Star is turned into a Sidekick
        • This is treated not as “the Star died,” but as “the Star does not exist,”
so the glow stops regardless of whether the former Star is alive or dead.
