Role Description

• Passive ability: Mayor’s Authority
• During meetings, your vote counts for more than other crewmates’.

When to Use This Ability

• It may look very plain at first glance, but in Among Us it’s an incredibly powerful ability—arguably one of the strongest.
• Since everyone can clearly see that you have extra votes, it’s very easy to prove your role.
• Also, having more votes means you don’t allow non-crewmate roles to force a PP. Depending on the settings, it can even turn what would have been a PP into a dramatic comeback win.
• Simply staying alive becomes a very strong deterrent.
• For that reason, be even more careful about when you claim (CO) than with other roles. The Mayor is strongest when you’re alive but no one knows who you are.
