Passive Ability: Hacking
After completing n tasks, you can identify which faction a configured player belongs to.
- If they are a Crewmate, they will be shown as Crewmate; if an Impostor, as Impostor; if a Neutral/Third faction, as Third faction.
- Madmate and Jackal Friends depend on settings.
  - If “Visible” is OFF, they are treated as Crewmates.
  - If “Visible” is ON, they are shown as Madmate or Jackal Friends.
- If “Detailed roles” is ON, you can see the role name as well.
- By default, you cannot see roles during meetings (can be changed in settings).
However, when you reach a progress of n − x tasks, your name appears in the role color from an evil player’s perspective.
- Depending on settings, players on evil factions with kill abilities may also see an arrow pointing to you.

Task progress required to activate ability	Task progress (%) at which “Hacking” activates
Remaining tasks relative to the progress at which evil can detect you	Number of tasks at which evil players can tell you are the Data Hacker (total tasks − this value)
Show an arrow when revealed	Whether an arrow is shown from the perspective of evil factions with kill abilities
Can see roles during meetings	Whether name color changes / role name is displayed during meetings
Can identify Impostors	Whether you can identify Impostors
Can identify Third faction	Whether you can identify the Third faction
Can identify only killing Third factions	Whether you can identify only Third-faction roles that have kill abilities
Can identify Crewmates	Whether you can identify Crewmates
Can identify Mad-type roles	Whether you can identify Mad-type roles
Can also see role names	Whether role names are displayed as well
