Role and Exclusion Settings
Back to the Custom Settings table of contents
Role Settings
You can change the number of players selected, selection probability, and unique ability settings for each role.
- Even if a role is enabled, it will not be selected if the maximum number selected for its faction is 0.
- If the number of candidates exceeds the maximum number selected, roles are chosen based on probability and the lottery results.
- For unique ability settings, see each role page.
Modifier Settings
For each modifier, you can configure how many are assigned to Crewmates, Impostors, and third-party factions, as well as the assignment probability for each faction. If a modifier has its own specific restrictions, those conditions take priority.
Common Settings for Mad-type Roles
For all Mad-type roles, you can configure them so they cannot fix the following sabotages. All of these settings are ON by default.
- Cannot fix Comms Sabotage
- Cannot fix Lights
- Cannot fix Reactor-type emergency sabotages
These settings are applied separately from the abilities described on each individual role page.
Exclusion Settings
Group together roles that you do not want to be selected at the same time, and set the maximum number of selections within each group.
- Roles from different factions can be registered in the same group.
- Once the group reaches its maximum number selected, the remaining roles in the same group will not be selected.
- The probability of each individual role and the faction-specific maximum number selected are also applied at the same time.
Example
If you register Madmate, Black Cat, and Worshiper in a group and set the maximum number selected to 1, then at most only 1 of these 3 roles will be selected. This can be used in setups such as Yaminabe to limit the number of Mad-type roles that can exist on the field.
