Frankenstein
Faction
- Third faction
Win Conditions
- If you achieve the configured number of kills and are still alive, then the match ends for any reason other than your own solo win, you “steal” the win as a solo victory.
- Because this is a conditional takeover win, its win priority is somewhat high.
- Roughly: higher than Little Pig, but lower than Moira.
Role Description
- Active ability: Create Monster
- Use it on a corpse to revive that body.
- Your own body becomes invisible, and your camera/view transfers to the revived corpse (the “Monster”).
- You can move the Monster freely, and it can kill exactly once.
- There is no kill cooldown.
- After you kill, you return to the corpse.
- Your camera/view returns to the location where you activated the ability, and invisibility is removed.
- Conceptually, your main body doesn’t move; it’s like your consciousness possesses the Monster and controls it.
- If a meeting is called before you kill, a corpse will appear at the Monster’s last position, and invisibility is removed.
- With Seer’s “see souls” ability, a soul will appear at that position.
- The cooldown for Create Monster resets at the moment you get a kill.
- Passive ability:
- An arrow appears pointing to the location of a corpse.
- When the ability is not in use, you have no kill button, etc., and you have Crewmate vision.
- While in Monster form, in addition to the kill button, you can configure Impostor vision and vent usage via settings.
- Even if you are alive, the match ends if all other killing non-crewmates are eliminated.
- Because this role alone cannot create a corpse.
Detailed Specs
- About the **Monster**
- It cannot be sidekicked (because it is already dead).
- If it gets killed, it becomes a normal corpse and your camera/view returns to your main body (same behavior as when the ability ends after a kill).
- About the **main body while the ability is active**
- No buttons respond at all.
- In other words, while the ability is active, your main body cannot be killed or sidekicked.
- This is to prevent unnecessary bugs.
How to Identify This Role
- This role’s kill always results in two corpses appearing next to each other, so use that as a basis for deduction.
- Also, while they are in Monster form in order to kill, Frankenstein themself cannot be visually confirmed—so someone who can’t be accounted for is suspicious.
