The Jackal faction wins

This role is not assigned at the start of the game. It is assigned when chosen by the Jackal’s active ability, [Sidekick!].
When you become a Sidekick, you lose the abilities of the role you had before receiving the SK ability. (*2 Exceptions apply)
When all Jackals (*1) die, you are promoted to Jackal.
Unlike Jackal Friends, Sidekick is counted as part of the Jackal faction.
- On a board state of 0w 1J 1SK 2C, the number of players in the Jackal faction is judged to be equal to the number of Crewmates, so the Jackal faction fulfills its win condition.

Detailed Specifications

About Sidekick promotion and kill ability
- A Sidekick never has kill ability.
- An unpromoted Sidekick will not exist.
The Jackal faction will never exist as a killing faction count while being unable to kill.
- Because a board state such as 0w 0J 1SK 2C~ cannot occur, the game will not continue in a state where there are no killing non-Crew roles.
- If you do not want to increase the number of killing non-Crew roles but want to increase the number of players in the Jackal faction, please use Jackal Friends.
  - Jackal Friends is the Jackal-faction version of Madmate. Although they are allies of the Jackal, they do not gain a kill button after the Jackal dies, and they are counted as Crewmates.
  - They can be assigned either at the start of the game or by being chosen by the Jackal, similarly to Sidekick.

Notes

*1 All Jackals
- Includes Jackals other than the parent Jackal.
- Does not include other Jackal roles, such as Wave Cannon Jackal.

*2 Exceptions
- Depending on the abilities of the role you had before becoming a Sidekick, such as Star, you may become a Sidekick while retaining the abilities of your previous role.
- You do not lose the abilities of overlapping roles, such as Lovers.
