Sidekick
Faction
- Third Faction (Jackal)
Win Condition
- The Jackal faction wins.
- For details, please check the win conditions in Jackal.
Role Description
- This role is not assigned at the start. It is assigned when the Jackal uses the active ability [Sidekick!] to designate someone.
- When you become a Sidekick, you lose the abilities of the role you had before receiving the SK ability. (*2 There are exceptions.)
- If all Jackals (*1) die, you are promoted to Jackal.
- Unlike Jackal Friends, Sidekick counts as part of the Jackal faction.
- In a situation like
0w 1J 1SK 2C, the game judges the Jackal faction’s numbers to be equal to the crew’s numbers, and the Jackal faction fulfills its win condition. - Available abilities
- Identify the Jackal faction
- Vent (*3)
- Sabotage (*3)
- Impostor vision (*3)
Detailed Specifications
- About Sidekick promotion and kill ability
- A Sidekick never has a kill ability.
- There is no such thing as an unpromoted Sidekick.
- The Jackal faction will never exist in a state where it counts as a killing faction but cannot kill. - Since the game will not reach a state like ``0w 0J 1SK 2C~``, the game will never continue with no killing non-crew roles present. - If you don’t want to increase the number of killing roles but do want to increase the Jackal faction’s headcount, use [Jackal Friends](../Crewmate/FriendRole/ジャッカルフレンズ.md). - Jackal Friends are essentially the Jackal-faction version of Madmate: they are allies of the Jackal, but after the Jackal dies they do not gain a kill button, and they are counted as Crewmates. - There are two assignment methods: assigned at the start, or designated by the Jackal in the same way as Sidekick.
