Lovers
Faction
- Third faction (overrides win conditions)
Win Conditions
- Shared condition for all settings
- If both are alive and the number of living players drops to 3 or fewer, they achieve a solo win.
- Normal
- They also retain their original faction’s win condition.
- Shared Win
- If both are alive and either one wins via their original faction’s win condition, the other also wins alongside them.
- True Solo
- They can only win as Lovers (they cannot win as their original faction).
Role Description
- Always assigned as a pair of two.
- If one dies, the other also dies.
- In some cases, the role may be assigned later by certain roles (e.g., Pure Lover, Cupid).
Mechanics-based initial assignment exclusion list
- Bakaze-shi
- Pure Lover
- Busker
Behavior by Win Condition Mode
- Normal / True Solo
- If an Impostor or a kill-capable third-faction role is included among the Lovers, the game will not end even in situations where it normally would.
- Example: If one of the two Impostors is a Lover, the game will not end even when the remaining players are 2 Impostors and 2 Crewmates.
- The non-Lover Impostor must kill the Lover Impostor’s partner; otherwise, the Impostors cannot win.
- If someone other than the Lover’s partner is killed, the Lovers win.
- If the game doesn’t end in a situation where it normally should, you need to suspect the other Lover.
- Shared Win
- Even if an Impostor or a kill-capable third-faction role is a Lover, it does not block the normal Impostor win (or the win of other kill-capable third factions).
- With this setting, the player on the non-killing side can play similarly to a Madmate.
Distribution Type
- Assigned across all eligible factions
