- This is a feature that sends data (such as which roles were used) to a server in order to make SuperNewRoles an even better mod.
- Only the SuperNewRoles developers can view the individual data.
- No personally identifiable information—such as your player name—is sent.
Details
Hashing the friend code
- Your friend code is sent after being hashed.
- This makes it possible to identify individuals in a way that does not allow the original friend code to be determined.
- This hashed friend code is referred to below as the Player Identifier ID.
Information that is sent
Information sent from all clients
- Your Player Identifier ID
- The host’s Player Identifier ID
- Game platform
- Ping (1-minute average)
- FPS (5-minute average)
- 1% low FPS (the bottom 1% of FPS values within the 5-minute average FPS window)
- Mode
- Vanilla game mode
- Match internal ID
- SuperNewRoles version
- Number of players in the match
Information sent only from the host
- All players’ Player Identifier IDs
- Game settings
- Roles enabled in the settings
- Roles that were actually selected
- Map ID
- Server ID
- This indicates which vanilla server was used, whether it was SuperNewRoles Tokyo, a custom server, or local play.
- The address of any custom server you use is not sent.
- Match start time
- Whether the lobby was disbanded
- Winning team
