Sending Analytics Data

This is an optional feature used to understand SuperNewRoles usage and operating environments, and to help with development and improvements. Player names are not sent.

Enabling or Disabling

Open “Mod Settings” from the Among Us settings screen, then toggle Send analytics data. For details, see Client Settings.

Friend Code Hash

Instead of sending the Friend Code itself, a hash value calculated with MD5 is sent as the player identifier ID.

  • Since the same identifier ID is generated from the same Friend Code, it is possible to aggregate data across matches.
  • The raw Friend Code is not sent directly.

Information Sent from All Clients

  • Your own player identifier ID
  • The host’s player identifier ID
  • SNR game mode
  • Internal match ID
  • SuperNewRoles version
  • Number of participating players
  • Platform used
  • Recent average ping
  • Recent average FPS
  • 1% Low FPS

The vanilla game mode is not included in the data sent from all clients.

  • Whether the match was abandoned
